Francis Thuita Kimemia in Sabugo Ol Kalou Constituency, Nyandarua County ,born on 27th October 1964. He is the governor elect for Nyandarua County in 2017.Mr. Kimemia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from University of Nairobi and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Maasstrich University/ESAMI.

He is a Kenyan politician who served as the former Secretary to the Cabinet of Kenya. He is the former Head of Civil Service. He took over from Francis Muthaura in 2012. He previously served as Permanent Secretary, Ministry of State for Provincial Administration and Internal Security of Kenya. Kimemia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Public Administration and a Master of Business Administration.
