Eric Muchangi popularly known as Karemba is first MP from ‘Akorino’ religion in Kenya. Residents of Runyenjes Constituency in Embu County made history for electing the first Mukorino to Parliament. Eric Muchangi Njiru, an aspiring Member of Parliament in Runyenjes Constituency, garnered 24,603 votes while his closest competitor, Margaret Lorna had only 5,945 on 8/8/2017. The Jubilee Party candidate for Runyenjes Constituency is likely to be the first Akorino MP in Kenya.

He was Aspirant MP of Republic of Kenya representing Runyenjes in 2013, Member of Alliance Party of Kenya (APK) and he is a Coalition member of Jubilee.

At Kenyatta University, he was a student leader and more to that he is an entrepreneur, providing jobs to many young people not only from his community but to all communities at large.
