Safaricom Appstore

Safaricom Appstore has showed up on some users Windows phone devices in Kenya. This is above and beyond the existing Windows Store and Nokia collection that harbours applications developed for Nokia Windows phone smartphones and are not available for other phones. Bobby speculates that this could mean good things in the line of operator billing.

However the applications present in the store are not any different from what you get on your average day on Microsoft Store, just some select applications that Safaricom thinks you need as to get going with your Windows Phone. This discovery would actually mean that Safaricom aims to go big on the applications front and seeks to spread out wings on all mobile phone platforms, mainly Android, Windows and Java phones and get revenues both in data and commissions for applications sold by local developers and other content via their stores.

Have you checked out the Safaricom Appstore??? Get on your mobile phone and click www.safaricom.com today.
